No two missions are ever the same. For this very reason Pilatus developed the PC-12 with the utility door option, this configuration provides a truly unique advantage over aircraft of a similar category. In essence the utility door offers the ability to deploy supplies, cargo, or para-jumpers from an aircraft than can slow down to perform its mission while later re-pressurizing and accelerating to high speed cruise at altitude.
